چکیده

 I de senere år har alderismen (aldersdiskrimination) på det danske arbejdsmarked været til debat. Men arbejdsmarkedet er kun et af steder, hvor kommer udtryk. Gennem etnografisk feltarbejde udforsker artiklen, hvordan alderisme opleves blandt ældre mennesker. Forfatteren analyserer, internaliseres og ofte bliver en del menneskers selvbillede.I mange tilfælde som subtil acceptabel, mens den i andre konkret marginaliserende. Artiklen belyser alderismens fremkomster bidrager diskussionen om, udbredt er, hvad alder betyder for vores måder at omgås på.
